Coltsfoot Retreat,Hertfordshire the perfect venue for Ellie & Jame’s Wedding.

Nestled in the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside, Coltsfoot Retreat provided the perfect backdrop for Ellie and James’ magical wedding day. As a seasoned Bedfordshire wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing and telling the story of their magical day. From bespoke bridal hair by the talented Nicola to the breathtaking scenery outside the big window, the beautifully restored barn, the Alpaca’s and the gorgeous gardens this wedding was a dream to photograph.

Ellie radiated beauty with her bespoke bridal hair crafted by the skilled hands of Nicola, a renowned hairdresser. The intricate details and personalized touch added a unique charm to Ellie’s overall bridal look. As a wedding photographer, it was a joy to capture the elegance and sophistication that Nicola’s expertise brought to the day, ensuring Ellie looked absolutely stunning in every frame.

One of the standout features of Coltsfoot Retreat is the expansive window that frames the breathtaking Hertfordshire countryside. Ellie and James chose this venue not just for its charming interiors but also for the stunning views that provided a natural and enchanting backdrop to their wedding, oh and the Alpaca’s.

As a Bedfordshire wedding photographer, I made the most of this picturesque setting, capturing the couple’s love against the backdrop of rolling hills and lush greenery.

The intimate ceremony held at Coltsfoot Retreat was filled with love and emotion. The natural light streaming through the big window illuminated the space, creating a warm and romantic ambiance. As Ellie and James exchanged vows, surrounded by their family and friends, the beautiful surroundings added a touch of magic to the moment, making it truly unforgettable.

Ellie & James decided to have the speeches before the wedding breakfast, Ellie’s Dad gave a great speech full of humour and gentle ribbing of his brand new Son in Law, whilst the best mans speech was full of funny anecdotes from their time at University. James’s speech was full of love for his parents, those that could not be at the wedding and for Ellie. It was beautiful and even I had a damp eye as I was photographing them.

The reception was a lively celebration, with guests dancing the night away to the tunes of an amazing band. The joy and laughter that filled the air were infectious, creating an atmosphere of pure happiness. As a Bedfordshire based wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to capture the genuine moments of love and celebration that unfolded throughout the night.

Ellie and James’ wedding at Coltsfoot Retreat in Hertfordshire was a testament to the power of love and the beauty that surrounds us. From the Bespoke Bridal Hair by Nicola to the enchanting views framed by the big window, every detail added to the magic of the day. As a Bedfordshire wedding photographer, I am grateful to have been small part of Ellie and James’ journey, capturing the moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
