You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to practise your smile. And you definitely don’t need to disappear from your wedding for hours while I turn it into a photoshoot.
Most of my couples tell me they’re a little nervous about being in front of the camera — and that’s absolutely fine.
My approach is relaxed, fun and unobtrusive. For most of your day, I’ll simply capture what’s happening: the hugs, laughter, happy tears, ridiculous dance moves and all those little moments you didn’t even realise were happening.
When we do take some photographs of the two of you, I’ll give you just enough direction to help you feel comfortable — never stiff poses or awkward smiles.

Hi, I’m Catherine
Bedfordshire wedding photographer, professional third wheel and firm believer that wedding photography should actually be fun.
I’m there to tell the story of your wedding without taking over your wedding.
That means plenty of laughter, very little standing around posing and lots of photographs of the people you love being completely themselves.
I’ll quietly capture the moments as they unfold, step in with a little direction when you need me, organise the family photographs without it becoming a military operation and probably make a terrible joke when you’re feeling nervous.
Above all, I want you to feel completely comfortable around me.
Because when you forget about the camera, that’s when the magic happens.
