With several years of experience and a Weddison award under my belt, I understand the importance of capturing the unique essence of each moment. From the joy and excitement of an engagement to the intimacy and confidence of a boudoir session, I’m here to make sure your photos tell your story beautifully.
As a Bedfordshire wedding photographer, I find immense joy in documenting the beginning of an incredible journey between two people. It’s a privilege to witness and capture the love, laughter, and happy tears as couples celebrate with their family and friends.

About Me
When I’m not working at Catherine Brooks Photography, you’ll find me enjoying life in Bedfordshire with my husband, family, friends, and my beloved Cockapoo, Huxley. I’m a huge fan of live music, especially rock bands, but I also enjoy a good drum & bass gig. Great company, delicious food, and a glass of wine make for a perfect evening in my book. I love spending time by the sea, regardless of the weather, and I’m a firm believer that the geeks will inherit the earth. You’ll often find me curled up on the sofa watching a sci-fi series or a fantasy film (Stardust is my all-time favourite!).
How I Work
If you’ve checked out some of the beautiful photos I’ve created for my clients, you’ll notice that laughter and having a good time are at the heart of my work and life. I believe humour is essential in everything I do, especially in the photos I take. After all, if you’re not smiling and laughing on your wedding day, something’s not right!
My Goal
My goal is to make you feel completely at ease and ensure we’re all having fun during the shoot. Instead of barking orders and making you pose awkwardly, I provide light direction with a smile, capturing real, authentic moments on camera. As a professional photographer, my focus is always on bringing out the best in people. Therefore, your true selves shine through in the photos I deliver.
I take a mixture of images for all bookings. For example, as your wedding photographer, I’ll take traditional couple’s portraits, group shots, and candid, detail-oriented pictures, thereby covering the full magic of your day. Whether you have a clear vision for your photos or feel unsure, I’m here to offer my expert advice before and during the event.
