Sheene Mill Weddings in Cambridgeshire – A Beautiful Day

I love photographing Sheene Mill weddings in Cambridgeshire. So, I thought I’d share one of them with you, for inspiration!

This is Nichola and Graham. They got married at Sheene Mill, which is a former watermill in Cambridgeshire with a beautiful lake. It was such a fun wedding and so touching.

The ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful service in the conservatory. During the ceremony they had a lovely reading.

They decorated the area with Autumn colours, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Sheene Mill – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. I have to say, weddings at Sheene Mill are amazing, because the food is absolutely delicious.

However, that is not the only reason why Sheene Mill is a great place to get married!

In my opinion, Sheene Mill has a really laid-back vibe and is one of the nicest places to get married in Cambridgeshire. Apart from the amazing food, there is also a gazebo looking out onto the lake that’s perfect for photos.

The afternoon

The couple had a drinks & canapes reception during the afternoon and a photobooth in the evening.

The way that Nichola & Graham decorated the venue really caught the Autumn feel with lovely golds and orange dried flowers for the centre pieces. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was to their favourite song. They finished off the evening with everyone throwing shapes on the dance floor.

The couple

Nichola wore a classic white dress,  Graham wore Tweed Suit and they looked really gorgeous. Nichola’s dress had a very Grecian feel to it and suited her to a tee. Graham’s tie and pocket square matched the decor perfectly.

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they love dogs as much as me.

Most of my couples say to me that they don’t like having their photo taken and that they aren’t photogenic and then they see the photos that I take of them and love them.
